I think that Overall this video is very effective as an opening sequence. It has some typical conventions of an opening sequence like producers and distributers being shown at the beginning of the sequence. It could have changed setting during the opening sequence to keep the audience intrigued throughout the few minutes. Another good thing this sequence does is create a clear social group through the character and miss en scene. Because of the correct order of typography, creative way of showing text and well shot scene i would give this a A/B. To get an A* i would show more shot variation including wide shots to show the room and long shots.
Watching a trailer for another film gave me an idea of what to avoid when making an opening sequence. Putting the title at the end is a typical convention of a trailer so doing it in my opening sequence may make it look like a trailer.
